Creative Resume: Film and Television

Shortly after graduating from U.C.L.A., Jonathan Bogner began his long and distinguished career in the entertainment business at Private Eye, a CBS company, where he worked in Business Affairs. Jonathan made a strategic move into music and licensing for Tyrell/Mann (“American  Tale”, “Flight of the Navigator”), and was then recruited as Vice President of Production at Empire Pictures (“Ghoulies”, “Enemy Territory”). He moved to Weintraub Entertainment (“My Stepmother is an Alien”, “Troop Beverly Hills”), before launching  Bogner Entertainment, Inc. (“BEI”). BEI specialized in music supervision and clearance for ESPN, and for the films, “The Doors”, “Pirates”, “Men at Work” and for Carl Sagan’s “Cosmos.”  Mr. Bogner also created and produced live action videos for children, which included “Mommy & Me” (Lionsgate), “Daddy & Me” (Lionsgate)”, “Mr. Babyproofer” (BEI), “Kids Make Music” (Laserlight) and “Musical Classics for Children” (BMG). Disney hired Jonathan to produce a series of documentaries (“The Making of Toy Story”) and Electronic Press Kits (EPKs) for the Disney Channel. He also produced a series of websites for Disney including: “Toy Story,” winner of AOL best website of the year, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “Tom and Huck” and “James and the Giant Peach”. Jonathan went on to produce the movies, “Hansel and Gretel” (Warner Brothers), “Red Riding Hood” (20th Century Fox), “Popstar” (New Line), “Retrievers” (Animal Planet) “Supercross” (20th Century Fox), “Motocross Kids (20th Century Fox),  “The Santa Trap”(PAX), “Ace of Hearts” (20th Century Fox), “Trailer Park of Terror” (Lionsgate) and “Soccer Mom” (Lionsgate). As an Executive Producer for Fremantle Media, Jonathan produced “Down South Dance” (TLC) and “The McCord Sisters” (E!).  He produced and created shows for Relativity Real:  “Kim of Queens” (Lifetime/Series), “My Five Wives” (TLC/Series),” “The Boonies” (NatGeo/Series), “The Woodsmen” (History/Series),  “Drumheads” (Halogen/Series), “Little Weddings Planner” (Lifetime/Series), “The Last Frontiersmen”(Discovery/Special), “Dance Kids ATL” (TLC/Special), “Parking Games” (Spike/Pilot)," “Addicts & Animals” (Animal Planet/Special) and “Flipping Divas” (HGTV/Special). Jonathan also  executive produced shows for All3Media (owned by Discovery) including, “Big In Atlanta” (TLC/Pilot), “Make My Family” (Freeform/Pilot), “Late Night Car Fight” (Discovery/Pilot), “Strange Places With Dr. Albert Lin” (Science Channel/Pilot), “Suspicious Case Unit-Alameda County” (A&E/Pilot),  and “Restaurant Takeover” (Food Network/Pilot). For T-Group he produced “Love Scouts”  (Oxygen/Pilot) and he created and produced “Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch” (Facebook/Cheddar TV).  Jonathan is currently producing “Hard Money.”
